Director Profile

Mr Innes Gray is the Managing Director of Consensus Planning Limited and he set up the company in January 2001.

Having undertaken a degree in residential development at Nottingham Trent University he then spent valuable time with Wimpey Homes, Persimmon Homes, Bellway Homes and finally 4 years as Land Director for one of Linden Homes' regional offices. During his career in the private sector housebuilding industry he gained experience in all elements of the business including the construction process, sales and marketing and design, although he has always remained focused on securing planning consents.

During this time he also spent just under 2 years in the social housing sector with a major housing association in both Rented and Shared ownership tenures.

In the last 6 years Innes has witnessed the benefits a community led approach can provide in accelerating the planning process and providing a ‘win-win’ solution that provides residents with true community benefits whilst preserving the underlying asset value for applicants by focusing on those points most valued by the community.
